Real Man Necessity Worksheet

NecessityWorksheet

Starting to plan how your cash is used on a daily, monthly, or yearly basis doesn’t have to be a giant process or an overwhelming anxiety attack.  The best way to start is to understand what your currently earning and spending.

Look at your last monthly bank statements, credit card bills, or anything else which shows your money and how it was spent. For some of you, this may instigate a panic attack.  Don’t let it! All you’re doing is looking at the things you bought. Note: If last month was untypical of your spending habits, then go back to another month. If it was dramatically lower or higher for any reason don’t use it.

Feel free to download a copy of the RealManNecessityWorksheet.

Basically, you’re going to do five things.

  1. Determine your monthly Income.
  2. Determine how much is spent on Food.
  3. Determine how much is spent on Utilities.
  4. Determine how much is spent on Housing.
  5. Determine how much is spent on Transportation.

That’s it! … From this point you’ll be able to get a baseline and determine if your overspending on anything.  These 5 areas are your core necessities.

A Real Man does what is Necessary First.
